PFA is suitable for precision injection molding to produce corrosion-resistant parts, anti-wear parts, seals, insulation parts and medical equipment parts.

Teflon is one of the most important inventions of the 20th century. For example, PFA and PTFE: polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkoxyvinyl ether copolymer resin (PFA) are two kinds of fluoroplastics that are widely used in the world. Their properties are very similar. Then why is PFA precision injection molding widely used instead of PTFE?

Performance comparison

1. The performance of PFA is similar to that of PTFE, the maximum continuous use temperature is 260 ℃, and the minimum use temperature is -196 ℃. The biggest difference is that PFA can be melt processed. PFA is often used for precision injection molding and screw extrusion technology processing.

2. In terms of salt spray corrosion resistance, the performance of PFA is better than that of PTFE.

3. The flexibility of PFA is better than PTFE, such as in the application of PFA precision injection molding pipe.
